There is clearly a direct link between Forced Labour as an identified Risk across Supply Chains where this Risk is associated with Excessive working hours which are reported and highlighted in various SEDEX reports including Country Risk reports etc.
To mitigate and reduce these defined Risks our policies and procedures require all internal business teams that work with order placement and production must have completed the SEDEX eLearning modules as shown below.
In addition, our teams work directly with our Supply Chain factories to ensure all production associated management and teams completed these modules which give valuable training and insights that support ongoing improvement programs. Records of factories who have completed the required modules are updated and maintained.
Please note: At the time of this website update SEDEX have suspended access to these modules whilst ongoing SEDEX Platform developments are being actioned. However, Hotsprings and Brands are in discussion with the original co -developers of the eLearning modules with a view to acquiring rights to continue their use across our Supply Chain partners.
